1.10.14 Baverstock Y4 Mixed football 5 aside

Trying to win 3 years in a row, The Y4 team visited Baverstock Academy with some very enthusiastic vocal support, to compete for the Baverstock trophy.

Game 1 – The team got off to a slow start against Kings Norton and conceded 3 goals in the 1st half. The second half was more enjoyable, with more attacks at both ends. Issac keeping the goals out, Kai improving the defence and a goal for Lewis. Final Score 1-3 loss.

Game 2 – Hollywood’s ┬ásecond game against The Oaks was a goal fest that went from end to end and ultimately had 11 goals. Hatricks for Lewis and Mason in each half with an own goal meant that the final score was 7-4 to Hollywood. Again Issac made important saves, Kai interceptions and Kallie was more involved.

Game 3 – With Chilcote also losing to Kings Norton, it meant the winner would be second in the competition. The girls began to get more invovled and Alfie made some good tackles, but again a slow start cost Hollywood. Kai worked really hard up and down the pitch. With the game 0-3 at half time Hollywood became more competitive Lewis bagged 2 goals and the final score was 2-5.

3rd on the night, Hollywood played well in stages and were cheered to the rafters by their enthusiastic support.
